About Me: I've recently moved back to Deuel County, South Dakota and am in the process of planting my roots! I was in the Air Force National Guard as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician for 6 years, previously worked in the banking and import/export industry, lived overseas for a short stint, and am happy to be home surrounded by family again. I love life in rural America."

I love travelling and basically anything outdoors - all winter recreation activities, summers at the lake, riding horses, wilderness canoe trips, motorcycle rides, biking. I also love all kinds of music (especially country), reading books, and learning new things.

What I do at the RLC: Rural community development.

What I wanted to be when I was little: An astronaut.

Interesting previous job(s) I've held: I was a ski instructor at Power Ridge in Kimball, Minnesota. It was one of the most entertaining jobs I've ever had - constantly untangling little kids in big fluffy snowsuits skis after they've toppled over while skiing down the bunny hill.

Personal goal for 2008: To buy a house, become more structured with my time, and make some new friends now that I live in Deuel County full-time.

A place I want to visit at least once in my lifetime: 2 places actually - 1) Rwanda... I'm dying to see the gorillas, and 2) India. I could list oodles more but those two have remained at the top of my life for awhile now!

Favorite rainy day activity: Watching movies, cooking & reading a good book!
